Any day now! My beautiful childhood friend Sarah is working on a little bun in the oven, baby #2.
A few months back when I started my business I told her we should do some maternity photos for her, I'm so glad we did!
This shoot was all about capturing my friend and a very intimate memory of her with her baby. Memories of sharing the same heart beat for 9 months, feeling him grow in her belly and respond to the environment and stimulus around him must be so special for any mom to be.
Of course we got a few family photos in there as well!
I love photographing maternity because it's a feeling, a memory and a time only a mother can truly know, and I think being able to give someone the gift of remembering that in such a peaceful and calm scene is so special to me as a photographer. In a moment like this, between a mother and her unborn child everything to me is so real!
This day, I was honored to be capturing one of the most intimate and special moments I can ever think of in a persons life. A peaceful moment with a mother and her unborn baby.
